Effective Date: September 28, 2026
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text messages sent by or on behalf of Verità (“Verità,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive text messages from Verità, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.
1. SMS Program Description
Verità may use SMS or text messaging to communicate with individuals who have provided their mobile telephone number and consented to receive such communications.
Depending on your relationship with Verità and the consent you have provided, messages may include:
- Customer service communications
- Account or project-related notifications
- Appointment or scheduling information
- Service notifications and updates
- Employment or recruiting communications
- Business-related alerts
- Requested information
- Other communications related to your interaction with Verità
The types of messages you receive will depend on the SMS program for which you provided consent.
CTIA’s published messaging best practices specifically address clear calls-to-action, consumer opt-in, recurring-message opt-in, campaign-specific consent, consumer opt-out, and handling of opt-in lists. [api.ctia.org]
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By opting in to an applicable Verità SMS program, you authorize Verità to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you provided.
Your consent to receive SMS communications applies to the applicable messaging program for which consent was provided.
Where applicable, consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Verità.
You are responsible for ensuring that the mobile telephone number you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to receive messages at that number.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on the nature of your relationship with Verità, the services you use, and the types of communications you have requested.
Recurring messages may be sent when applicable to the SMS program in which you participate.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages according to the terms of your mobile service plan.
Verità does not control and is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
5. Opting Out
You may withdraw your consent to receive SMS messages.
To stop receiving text messages, reply:
STOP
to a text message from Verità.
You may receive a final confirmation message indicating that your opt-out request has been received. After your request has been processed, we will stop sending messages covered by your opt-out request except as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Current FCC rules address a consumer’s ability to revoke consent for unwanted automated calls and texts. The FCC has delayed part of its broader consent-revocation framework until January 31, 2027. [docs.fcc.gov]
The FCC has also released proposed revisions in September 2026 concerning how opt-outs may apply to specific categories of informational communications and which methods businesses may designate for revoking consent. Those proposals are not yet final as of the effective date of these terms. [docs.fcc.gov]
6. Getting Help
For assistance with SMS communications, reply:
HELP
to a text message from Verità.
You may also contact Verità using the contact information provided below or through our website.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Information collected in connection with our SMS messaging program is handled in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy and other applicable Verità privacy policies.
Mobile information, including telephone numbers and SMS opt-in consent information, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose information to service providers as necessary to operate and deliver our messaging services, subject to appropriate restrictions on their use of the information.
CTIA’s published best practices address both restrictions on renting, selling, or sharing opt-in lists and maintaining a clear, conspicuously displayed privacy policy. [api.ctia.org]
8. Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS message delivery is subject to the availability and operation of wireless networks and services.
Delivery of text messages is not guaranteed and may be affected by circumstances outside Verità’s control, including wireless carrier availability, network conditions, device settings, or other technical issues.
Verità is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
9. Changing or Reassigning Your Mobile Number
If you discontinue use of a mobile telephone number that you previously provided to Verità, you should opt out of SMS communications or notify Verità that the number is no longer associated with you.
You agree not to knowingly provide a telephone number belonging to another person without authorization.
10. Modification of These Terms
Verità may modify these SMS Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our messaging practices, services, technologies, or applicable requirements.
Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Your continued participation in an SMS program following changes to these terms is subject to applicable consent requirements.
11. Termination of SMS Program
Verità reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue an SMS messaging program at any time.
Termination of an SMS program does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
